Ahmadi Rug (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information reaches us through this website and when you call, text, or email the workshop; which service providers handle it on our behalf; the cookies our site sets; and how long that information is kept.
Information you give us
When you request an estimate, send a message through our contact form, apply for a trade account, or sign up for our newsletter or care guide, we receive what you enter — typically your name, phone number, email address, pickup address, photographs of your rug, and a description of the work you are asking about. Calls, texts, and emails to the workshop come to us directly.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records standard request logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. Our site also uses cookies and browser storage to measure visits and to record which ad or campaign link brought you here. Each is described below.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, prepare a written estimate, schedule pickup and delivery, communicate about your rug while it is in our workshop, run the trade portal for design partners, and understand which pages and ads lead people to contact us. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Service providers we use
The following companies process information for us. Each receives only what it needs to do the job listed.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. The Google tag (gtag.js) runs on our live site and measures page visits and actions such as submitting the estimate form or tapping to call or text us. Google Ads uses those measurements to report which ads led to an inquiry. When an estimate request arrives with an ad click ID, we may later report to Google Ads that the job was completed, along with its value. Our website does not send your name, email address, or phone number to Google Analytics. Google Analytics 4 data is kept for 14 months.
- HighLevel. Our estimate, contact, and trade application forms are provided by HighLevel and appear on our pages as embedded frames. HighLevel is also our customer relationship management system: it stores inquiries and client records, receives newsletter and care-guide sign-ups, and sends our follow-up text messages and emails. A HighLevel script on our pages reads the campaign tags in the address you arrived at so they can be attached to a form you submit. We keep leads and customer records in HighLevel for 3 years after our last contact with you.
- Resend. Sends email from our website and trade portal — for example estimate emails, trade-portal sign-in links, project and job-status updates, and review requests. Email logs are kept for 30 days.
- Vercel. Hosts this website and keeps its request and server logs. Files that trade partners upload through the trade portal are stored in Vercel Blob. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page visits and loading performance. Request and server logs and uploaded files are kept for 30 days.
- Sentry. Receives an error report when a page or server function fails, so we can find and fix the problem. Error reports are configured to exclude form values and the personal details you type into our site. Error reports are kept for 90 days.
- YouTube. Videos on our site play in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The player loads only after you press play.
Trade partner accounts and project records are stored in our own database, which only the trade portal and the Ahmadi Rug team can access. Trade accounts are kept for 1 year after the account is closed.
Cookies and browser storage
Ad click and campaign cookies (arc_). When you arrive from a link that carries an ad click ID or campaign tag (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid, or the utm_ tags), our site saves each value in a first-party cookie whose name begins with arc_ — for example arc_gclid. These cookies last 90 days. The first value recorded is kept and is not overwritten by later visits. Our forms read them so that an inquiry can be credited to the ad or campaign that started it.
Landing record. For each visit, the site also notes the first page you opened and the site that referred you, in your browser’s session storage under arc_session_landing. It is sent along with a form if you submit one, and your browser clears it when the browsing session ends.
Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies. The Google tag sets its own cookies to tell visits apart and to connect ad clicks with later actions on our site. Google sets their names and lifetimes.
Trade portal sign-in. Trade partners who sign in receive a trade_session cookie that keeps them signed in. It cannot be read by scripts on the page, is sent only over secure connections, and expires after 30 days or when you sign out.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so stops the attribution described above; blocking the trade_session cookie prevents sign-in to the trade portal.
How long information is kept
- Ad click and campaign cookies: 90 days from the visit that set them.
- Landing record: until your browser session ends.
- Trade portal session: 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Trade portal sign-in links: they expire one hour after they are sent.
- Leads and customer records in HighLevel: 3 years after our last contact with you.
- Google Analytics 4 data: 14 months.
- Vercel request and server logs and uploaded files: 30 days.
- Sentry error reports: 90 days.
- Resend email logs: 30 days.
- Trade accounts: 1 year after the account is closed.
You can ask us to delete your records at any time. We complete deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them.
SMS messaging and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories of personal information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your choices
To stop text messages from us, reply STOP to any message. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have your records deleted, email info@ahmadirug.com or call (847) 440-1349. We complete deletion requests within 30 days and will confirm when yours is done.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we handle information, we update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. Our Terms of Service cover the rest of how our website and services work.
