    Itemized, written restoration estimate covering cleaning, reweaving, color correction, and structural repair. Firm price, no adjustments.

  • Full Restoration Service

    All restoration work performed in-house at our Skokie workshop. Nothing outsourced. Ghorban supervises every conservation job.

  • Final Condition Documentation

    Before/after photography and post-restoration condition report. Exactly what your carrier needs to close the claim.

Types of damage

Water, fire, smoke, and moths

  • Water damage

    The most time-sensitive claim. Water that reaches the cotton foundation causes rot within days in warm conditions. The faster we receive the rug, the more is recoverable. Emergency 48-hour response available.

  • Fire and smoke

    Smoke penetrates wool pile deeply. Fire damage ranges from scorching to complete pile loss. Both require specialist assessment to determine what is restorable.

  • Moth damage

    Active infestation must be treated before restoration. We treat, clean, and reweave in sequence. Moth damage caught early is largely repairable.

  • Storm and transit

    Flooding, roof collapses, moving damage. Written documentation provided for any claim requiring evidence of pre- and post-loss rug condition.

Common questions

  • Will my homeowner's insurance cover rug damage?

    Most standard homeowner and renter's policies cover rugs as personal property under the same coverage as furniture. Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of damage. A RICA-certified damage report from Bobby establishes the restoration cost for your adjuster.

  • How quickly can you assess the damage?

    For water damage — within 24-48 hours. For other damage types, Bobby reviews photos immediately and responds within 2 hours. In-person assessment is typically scheduled within a week.

  • Do you work with public adjusters?

    Yes. We work with both staff adjusters and independent public adjusters. Bobby can attend in-person inspections if needed to provide expert documentation of the damage.

  • What documentation do you provide?

    A RICA-certified written report covering: damage description, probable cause, pre-damage condition estimate, photographic documentation, itemized restoration cost, and Bobby Ahmadi's signature and RICA certification number.
